Oluwafemi Ajayi (VIP Judge)

Femi Ajayi is an Aquaculture Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), where he focuses on nutrition-sensitive integrated agriculture-aquaculture systems. With over seven years at FAO and a global perspective shaped by work with organizations like WorldFish, GIZ, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Femi champions sustainable food systems that link people, nutrition, and the environment. He holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Life Sciences (Aquaculture) from Shanghai Ocean University, a Master’s in Organic Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of Hohenheim, and a Master’s in Food Technology from the University of Ibadan. He is also an alumnus of the Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition Foundation’s Young Earth Solutions program.
